Trust Without Boarders

Trust Without Boarders

“Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders” classic song, a classic "story", though Jesus and Peter walking on water is a well-known memory, I often think I've yet to grasp what it actually means for me as a Christian. The mere fact that I serve the same God is mind-blowing. When this scripture is talked about, Peter walking on water is usually a very highlighted point and this is amazing(!!!).

However, I wanted to share another aspect of it. There were other disciples/Christians in the boat with him. Jesus didn't say "Come Peter" in Matthew 14:29 he said, "Come". All of the disciples could've experienced the miracle by trusting Jesus beyond the border of the boat. Instead of 1 out of 12 disciples, it could have been more. Will you go on a "Come"? Don't be afraid to ask him to increase your faith! Food for thought. ♥️♥️ - Alex (CEO)

Matthew 14:29 (NLT):

“Yes, come,” Jesus said.

So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus.”
